LYNN – Three suspected gang members were arraigned Monday for their alleged involvement in a quadruple stabbing at an Essex Street house party over the weekend.Sinclair M. Harris, 18, of 95 Union St. #201, Troy A. Adgurson, 18, of 123 Bowler St. and a 16-year-old Lewis Street boy were charged with four counts of armed assault with intent to murder and four counts of assault and battery with a knife.Police said Raylin Rosario-Mata, 18, was stabbed in the arm, back and head; Harold Rosario, 18, was slashed in the back; Julio Rosario, 16, was also stabbed in the back and Wilmer Perez-Rodriguez, 20, suffered multiple stab wounds to the back and abdomen. All the victims are males and live in Lynn.Perez-Rodriguez was the most severely injured and was listed Monday in critical but stable condition at Salem Hospital. One of his injuries included a punctured lung.Police responded to 372 Essex St. shortly after 11:30 p.m. Friday to find between 50 and 60 people fleeing from the scene after the four victims had been stabbed. The resident of the home, 18-year-old Arias Elena, told police she held the party because Lynn Tech High School cancelled its junior prom so she decided to hold a gathering for family and close friends, according to police.Police say the three suspects, who are allegedly members of the “Amtrack” gang, tried to crash the party. When they were denied entry, there was a confrontation that led to the multiple stabbings, police said.In separate interviews, the suspects, who are all Black, admitted to trying to crash the party but said they were confronted by a group of Hispanic males who started beating them with fists and sticks, according to police reports.Adgurson allegedly told police he pulled out a butterfly knife from his pants pocket and, according to police, “started swinging wildly” to protect himself because he was getting hit by several people.Several knife- and machete-wielding Hispanic males allegedly confronted Adgurson after he ran to Hollingsworth Street a short time later looking for the suspects, but for some reason the men did not think he was involved and left him alone. Before the confrontation, Adgurson allegedly washed his hands inside a home on that street.Lynn District Court Judge Stacey Fortes-White ordered Adgurson held on $75,000 bond or $7,500 cash bail. Harris was ordered held on $50,000 bond or $5,000 cash bail. Both men are due back in court May 27 for a probable cause hearing.
