SALEM – A Lynn woman already facing drug charges within a school zone was indicted Wednesday afternoon on a new drug trafficking charge.Colleen Emery, 52, of 10 Pleasant St., Apt. 112, is now charged with trafficking over 14 grams of heroin concerning her arrest in Lynn on May 1 when police raided her home and recovered over 19 grams of heroin.She already faces charges of dealing heroin near a school zone in connection with allegations she twice sold heroin, within 150 feet of St. Mary’s High School, to an undercover officer in Lynn in the winter of 2006, allegations she denies. She is scheduled for trial on June 3 on the case.Emery committed her newest charge while out on bail on the 2006 case. She faces a minimum mandatory punishment of five years in state prison, if convicted on the drug trafficking case.Assistant District Attorney Kristen R. Buxton is prosecuting both cases for the commonwealth.
