REVERE – Five people were arrested Sunday following a brawl inside I-Hop on Squire Road, police said.At about 4:15 a.m., a man identified as Joseph Nieves, 18, yelled “disparaging remarks” at one of four women seated inside the restaurant resulting in a fight, Police Capt. Michael Murphy said.”Officers’ reports indicate food, dishes, glasses, serving ware and silverware were strewn about a wide area of the floor,” Murphy said.After the rude comments were made, one woman allegedly threw a punch at Nieves before all four women and him began hitting and throwing dinnerware at each other, police said.During the melee, a bystander was struck in the face with a coffee urn, according to police.”It is reported that at one point, one of the females was knocked to the ground by Nieves, where he then kicked her,” Murphy said. “It is also reported that Mr. Nieves was kicked by one of the female combatants when he fell to the ground.”Nieves was later treated at a hospital for a laceration to the head. One of the women suffered abrasions to her face.The female suspects were identified as Lillian Claudio, 28, and Erica Phillips, 24, both of 126 Barns Ave., East Boston, Alycia Dilone, 26, of 11 Wardworth St., Danvers and Heidi Phillips, 25, of 570 Broadway, Lynnfield.All of the suspects, including Nieves, were arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
