BOSTON – Ten current and former toll takers, including Lynn man Tony Pasuy, pleaded not guilty to charges of stealing a total of $7,500 from their Massachusetts Turnpike Authority booths.According to published reports, nine of the 10 toll takers were released on personal recognizance Friday on charges of larceny and fraudulent record keeping in Boston Municipal Court.Bail was set at $1,000 for the tenth toll collector.Accused of pilfering quarters and dollars over a three-month period from their booths near Logan International Airport, Suffolk District Attorney Daniel Conley said they took home anywhere between $20 to $150 per shift.Authorities allege the toll takers charged taxicab and other commercial vehicles as ordinary vehicles and pocketed the difference.The charges were announced after a seven month investigation that included extensive surveillance on the suspects, according to Conley.The nine other toll takers include: King Chan, 50, of Wellesley; Joseph Fermino, 56, of Quincy; Stephen Golisano, 35, of East Boston; Paul Iacobacci, 48, of Everett; David Jones, 47, of Dorchester; Steven Lorina, 53, of Buzzards Bay; Hartley Riley, 67, of Roxbury; Justin W. Ruggiero, 27, of Bradford, and Cheung Wan, 67, of Randolph.
