LYNN – A 2008 Lynn Classical High School graduate was arraigned Monday on attempted murder and firearms violations after a weekend shooting on Franklin Street.Tarlee Teah, 18, of Lynn, allegedly fired three or four shots at a 26-year-old Chestnut Street woman who tried to intervene in a fight between Teah and another young man.Two police officers happened to be patrolling the area when they heard about four gunshots ring out shortly around 2 a.m. Saturday.The officers quickly saw the victim running out of an alley at 126 Franklin St. yelling about a man with a gun, police said.Teah was located and arrested within moments.The victim and another witness both told police the same version of events, according to police.They said Teah was arguing with another man in the parking lot of 108 Franklin St. when Teah allegedly knocked the man’s baseball hat off his head.The female victim stepped in between the two men when Teah allegedly threatened to harm the woman.He then pulled out a handgun and fired the shots in the victim’s direction as she ran down the alley, police said.Police say a .38 Special revolver was found ditched underneath a Chevrolet Impala. Officers also found several live and spent nine-millimeter shell casings.Teah was arrested and charged with armed assault with intent to murder, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building and possession of a firearm and ammunition without a license.He participated in the Classical High track team before he was expected to graduate in 2008.Teah told police he lives at 36 Newhall St. apartment four, but the landlord of the home told the Item that Teah doesn’t live there. Teah has used this address for previous arrests.Lynn District Court Judge Patricia Dowling ordered Teah held without bail until a dangerousness hearing is scheduled for July 15.
