LYNN – A disagreement between two neighbors at 99 Bowler St. turned ugly Monday when the female residents started to fight each other, police said.Helen V. Allison, who celebrates her 55th birthday today, was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a person over age 60, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (shod foot) and assault and battery shortly after 7 p.m.Allison, who lives in apartment two, allegedly struck a 67-year-old woman who lives in apartment one and kicked her 32-year-old daughter several times.According to a police booking sheet, Allison doesn’t work because she’s disabled and collects social security checks.Police say the fight started when Allison went into an apartment uninvited through an unlocked door to give the 67-year-old female resident a box of hamburgers.Allison was allegedly talking to the elderly resident when her 32-year-old daughter came into the room and began yelling at Allison to get out of the apartment because she was unwelcome and should have known better. The elderly woman later told police that her daughter and Allison began fighting after Allison refused to leave. Once the daughter got Allison into the common hallway, Allison allegedly kicked her in the stomach, police said. When the elderly woman tried to intervene, Allison allegedly struck her and pushed her.The daughter initially did not want to speak to police. But later, she told an officer that Allison kicked her in the stomach multiple times and pulled out her hair, which she showed to the officer, police said.
