LYNN – A Nahant Place couple was arrested Monday on drugs and weapons charges after a search warrant was carried out at their home and vehicle.Edwin Morales and Maritza Iglesia, both 35 of 31 Nahant Place #1, Lynn, were arrested shortly before 9 p.m.Police were watching their home moments before they planned to carry out a search warrant when the couple got into their vehicle and drove away.The car was stopped outside 106 Broad St., where Iglesia was allegedly found driving with a suspended license and Morales was caught with two twist bags of cocaine in his possession.Police searched the vehicle and the home, where they allegedly found a .380 caliber handgun, five bullets, another three twist bags of cocaine and $1,876 cash.
