LYNN – Police confirmed Monday that a man was shot several times on Beacon Hill Avenue over the weekend.A man in his late 20s of Asian descent was shot in the leg and foot, according to police spokesman Lt. Ted Blake.The victim told police he could not describe his assailants, Blake said.Officers were called to the area at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday.Several nine-millimeter shell casings were found on the scene, police said.Blake said he did not know for sure if police are investigating the incident as gang-related. He said the unidentified victim was transported to Mass. General Hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.
