LYNN – The man accused of killing a High Rock Street woman before taking his four kids and their mother to New York City is expected to return to Lynn today.Rodlyn Petitbois, 25, chose to waive extradition Thursday afternoon at his arraignment on a fugitive from justice charge in a Brooklyn courtroom.Petitbois probably won’t return to Lynn in time to attend an arraignment on Friday, meaning he will likely be arraigned Monday, according to Steve O’Connell, spokesman for the Essex County District Attorney’s Office.O’Connell said Petitbois has been charged with murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Though the suspect hasn’t been charged with kidnapping, O’Connell refuted reports that Petitbois’ children and their mother, Louna Eveillard, 26, left with him willingly.”All of the facts and circumstances surrounding this case remain under investigation but our witnesses have led us to believe that the children and the mother were taken against their will,” O’Connell said.Petitbois, Eveillard and their four children, Ryan Petitbois, 3, Lyndsey, 2, Lauren, 22 months and Roddick, 11 months, were found safely on a Brooklyn, N.Y. street after an 11-hour AMBER Alert was issued by Lynn and state police.Petitbois allegedly killed Greenland Etienne, 33, by stabbing her in the face and eye inside her 991/2 High Rock St. home shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday.A police report obtained by the Item indicates Petitbois flew into a jealous rage when Eveillard’s new boyfriend came over the house. Eveillard had separated from Petitbois recently.Petitbois allegedly tried to attack the boyfriend with two kitchen knives, then stabbed Eveillard in the hand before Etienne tried to intervene to save her friend’s life.Petitbois allegedly held Etienne on the floor and stabbed her several times while his four children were in another room and one of Etienne’s children was sleeping upstairs.Authorities say Eveillard was planning to spend the night at Etienne’s home with her children to get away from Petitbois, who had been physically abusive on at least one occasion, according to police. At about 5 p.m. Tuesday, Petitbois came over the house and began hanging out with people there. He even left and bought Chinese food for them, but began drinking Hennessy and allegedly got drunk a short time later. After the 1 a.m. murder, Petitbois fled with his family, triggering an AMBER Alert shortly after 5 a.m.Authorities received word the family was spotted on buses in Revere and Boston’s Haymarket Station. Authorities released surveillance photos of the family at a Boston train station late Wednesday afternoon. They were found in Brooklyn, N.Y. around 6 p.m.
