August 8, 2008 by itemlive_news

PEABODY-A 55-year-old man was found dead behind the H & S Tank company at 101 Foster St. shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday but his death does not appear suspicious, a detective at the scene said. The man appeared to be an employee of a business and was probably working by himself when he died of natural causes, possibly a heart attack, police said. The property is also home to Salem Collision. The man’s next of kin had not been notified of his death Thursday night.Meanwhile, approximately one block away, police responded to a near-fatal drug overdose at the second floor of 2 Lowe St. at approximately the same time Thursday, adding to the already heightened police presence in the area. The overdose victim was taken to Lahey Clinic and is expected to be okay.?
