LYNN – A Lynn teen allegedly involved in a violent home invasion on North Franklin Street Aug. 29 has been released on bail.Joshua Hansen, 17, of 67 Lovers Leap was arraigned at Lynn District Court Tuesday on charges of home invasion, armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, rifle. His next court date is scheduled for Sept. 9.According to a police report, Hansen, Rony Kevin Bienaime, 18, of Brooklyn, N.Y., and two other unidentified males, burst into a home on North Franklin Street around 5:30 a.m., claiming to be members of the state police.Once inside, the men charged upstairs, handcuffed one of the victims and stole almost $5,000 in cash from a safe along with marijuana and a knife.A police narrative said around the time of the incident, Hansen was found looking over his shoulder and appeared to be walking away from the scene.Hansen told police he left his house around 6 a.m. to go to the train station to go to school in Chelsea, but police said he was found walking in the opposite direction of the train station from his house. In reply, Hansen told police he was going to stop at a store first, but police said his statement didn’t make any sense because there are no stores in the general area. The direct route to the train station, however, does have several stores in that direction.Hansen’s stepfather told police the 17-year-old never leaves the house that early and was actually forbidden to leave the home prior to 7:30 a.m., but police say Hansen was seen on Bulfinch Street, behind the victim’s house around 5 a.m.Visibly nervous, police say Hansen began to change his story as to what time he left his house and where exactly he was going. At that time, police placed Hansen into custody. The victim said he immediately recognized the sneakers Hansen was wearing as one of the suspects who had been in his home during the incident.Bienaime was charged with armed home invasion, two counts of armed robbery, and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, rifle, possession of a class D substance, marijuana, violation of a city knife ordinance, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and trespassing. He was ordered held without bail until his next court date on Sept. 9.
