LYNNFIELD – An early evening car accident on Chestnut Street has left one man dead and two others with non-life threatening injuries.According to police, the fatal crash happened around 6 p.m. Friday when two motor vehicles collided head-on.Lynnfield Police Department dispatcher Diane Williams said the passenger, a 35-year-old male from North Reading that succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident, had been transported to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.”The other two passengers, a husband and wife, are in their 60’s and live in Lynnfield,” she said. “They were both transported to Lahey Clinic in Burlington.”The State Police reconstruction team is handling the incident. The name of the victim had not been released Friday.
