A Swampscott woman allegedly stabbed her boyfriend during a domestic dispute on Thursday afternoon.
Detective Sgt. Tim Cassidy said Ebony Johnson, 32, was charged with attempted murder and three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Cassidy said police received a 911 call from the victim, a 28-year-old Haitian male who resides in Salem, stating he had been stabbed.
?Detective Ted Delano and Officer Brian Wilson were the first on the scene,” he said. “When they arrived the male victim was in front of the house and bleeding from the hand and shoulder. He said his girlfriend stabbed him.”
The incident occurred at 15 Currier Court, which is off Norfolk Avenue, at approximately 12:17 p.m.
Cassidy said the victim was taken from the scene by ambulance but according to police the injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
Cassidy said Johnson would be held overnight and arraigned in Lynn District Court on Friday.
According to police, a small child was present at the two-family home when the stabbing occurred and the child was removed from the home by the Department of Social Services.
