PEABODY – A Peabody woman is facing serious charges after she allegedly crashed her car on Washington Street with her young child inside while she was high on heroin.Lisa M. Galibois, 40, of 29 Paleologos St., was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of heroin, child endangerment while under the influence, driving with a child under age 12 not wearing a seatbelt, failing to yield and a marked lanes violation.Galibois was not arrested due to her medical condition but will be summonsed to court on the charges.Police responded to 210 Washington St. at 12:38 p.m. after Galibois’ 1997 Ford Escort collided with a 2002 Acura driven by Joan Kessel of 3 Leo Road, Marblehead.Police said a Salem Hospital nurse found heroin tucked in Galibois’ underwear when she was brought in.According to police, Galibois’ vehicle was reported driving erratically several hours before the accident around 8:45 a.m.The child was identified as Kevin Galibois and was taken to North Shore Children’s Hospital in Salem.
