September 30, 2008 by dobrien

LYNN ? Police responded to shots fired near the corner of Lawton and Henry avenues just before 4:30 p.m. The vehicle involved in the shooting, a white Acura Integra, fled from the scene up Hamilton Street and took a right onto Grover Street at which time all the occupants of the vehicle bailed out of the moving vehicle. The car went off the road and eventually came to a stop in a grassy vacant lot. Police were still on the scene just before 5 p.m. examining the vehicle from which they recovered a gun. Police have been unable to locate any victims, but alerted area hospitals to be on the lookout for patients suffering from gunshot wounds. At least one arrest has been made, but the suspects identity is unknown at this time. Police also recovered three shell casings on Lawton Avenue. Stay with www.itemlive.com for more details.
