PEABODY – Three South Carolina murder suspects were apprehended along the North Shore Thursday afternoon.Authorities arrested 34-year-old Ronald Webster of Ladson, S.C. at a home on St. Anne Avenue in Peabody. He was wanted by the Berkeley, S.C. County Sheriff?s Department on a murder warrant for the Sept. 25 shooting of Jason Gadsden, 21, of Summerville, S.C.Berkeley County deputies found Gadsden?s body in his pickup truck at approximately 11 p.m. the night of the murder.According to Massachusetts State Police spokesperson Dave Procopio, South Carolina authorities directed the Commonwealth?s attention to the fact that the suspects were most likely along the North Shore.?Using certain investigative methods that our Fugitive Unit and United States Marshals use, we were able to narrow the search to specific cities and towns, and then specific streets,” said Procopio.Procopio said when police arrived at the Peabody home, Webster answered the door and showed signs of intoxication.?Webster was taken into custody pretty quickly,” said Procopio, adding that most fugitive arrests “don?t go that easily.”After Webster was detained, police apprehended two other individuals believed to be accessories in the murder. Adam L. DeQuina, 32, and Joeva D. Yagman, 40, both of Ladson, were arrested at a home on Victory Road in Lynn. According to Massachusetts State Police, the two were staying with a relative. Both have been charged as fugitives wanted as accessories after the fact to murder.Prior to Thursday?s arrests, all three individuals were last seen living in a mobile home park in Lasdon.All three suspects were arraigned Friday as fugitives from justice and will continue to be held by the Essex County Sheriff?s Department until South Carolina authorities arrive to escort them back to their state.
