St. Mary’s Kevin McCarthy, who won the Catholic Central League Individual Golf Championship Thursday, was named the league’s Most Valuable Player and four of his teammates joined him on the all-star team – Matt O’Hare, George Carey, Dan Lacroix and Jesse Powers.The other league all-stars are Peter Hemme, Tim Benedetto, Nate Fuller and Dan Hemme from Austin Prep; Billy Gildae, Tony Coletti and Steven Hill from Cardinal Spellman; Brendan Greene and Andrew Thomson from Archbishop Williams; Matt Foster, Arlington Catholic; and Frank Kourtis, Marian.St. Mary’s won the league with a perfect 10-0 record.
