Peabody woman suffers minor injuries in crash

PEABODY – A Peabody resident walked away from a car accident with minor injuries Wednesday night.Ageliki Christopher, 22, was traveling down Lynnfield Street at about 10:01 p.m. when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a telephone pole. Alcohol was not a factor.Upon arrival, police officers found Christopher sitting on the doorstep of a nearby residence. She appeared to have only a few bumps and bruises, but was transported to Salem Hospital for further medical care, said Lt. Dennis Bonaiuto.Her brand new 2008 Toyota sustained some damage to its front end. Bonaiuto said the damage done to the telephone pole wasn’t severe enough to warrant a replacement.No other injuries were reported.
