LYNN – The Lynn man who was injured Saturday in a bicycle accident on Essex Street has died of his injuries.David Duprey, 47, died on Thursday at Mass. General Hospital.Police said Duprey suffered head trauma after the bicycle he was riding struck the side of a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder at the corner of Chestnut Street about 4:30 p.m.Duprey was the father of an 11-year-old boy who lives in Peabody. The mother of the child, who asked that her name not be published, says Duprey’s parents live in Plattsburgh, N.Y. and his funeral will likely be held there.The driver in the accident, identified as Kimberlee Girard of Northborough, was not injured and has not been cited.
