Weekend shooting victim identified, listed in stable condition

LYNN – A 26-year-old Brighton man is in stable condition at Massachusetts General Hospital after being shot once in the chest on Summer Street Saturday evening.
Police and witnesses said Reynaldo Ponce was shot while on the sidewalk near Pizza Plus, 776-778 Summer St., around 6 p.m. after he walked out of a nearby house.
Police are looking for two Asian males who witnesses said wore white T-shirts. One wore a black ball cap backwards on his head, said Lt. William Sharpe.
“The investigation is ongoing,” Sharpe said.
The shooting occurred four blocks down Summer Street from the White Hen Pantry store where a Lynn man was shot Feb. 10.
