LYNN-The Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, including troops from Lynn, recently attended the 17th annual Leading Women Awards at the Westin Copley Hotel in Boston to honor area women who have been instrumental in helping the organization.This year the Girl Scouts honored Bank of America Senior Vice President Michele Courton Brown, Deloitte & Touche Partner Susan Esper, former Lt.Gov. Kerry Healey, Ambassador Swanee Hunt, BJ’s COO Laura Sen, and the Rev. Liz Walker.”Every girl can become a leader that can take their communities and their world in a better direction,” said Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts CEO Ruth N. Bramson. “We are so grateful to everyone who came out today to show their support for girl development as a philanthropic and social priority.”Leading Women is a major fundraising event for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts.
