Roundabout produces holiday CD to benefit ADA

The Daily ItemDANVERS – The popular North Shore band Roundabout, with help from Danversbank, has produced a holiday CD to benefit the American Diabetes Association (ADA).The CD, Voices of the Season, includes 14 seasonal favorites such as “Winter Wonderland,” “Chestnuts Roasting on An Open Fire,” “Little Drummer Boy” and “Jingle Bell Rock.”Roundabout band leader David Moholland’s father died of diabetes two years ago, and was the inspiration behind the project, funded by Danversbank.”It seems everyone I talk to either knows someone who has diabetes or has it themselves,” Moholland said.The $10 CD is available at all Danversbank branch locations, as well as Danversport Yacht Club, Merchants Liquors in Danvers, Sam & Joe’s in Danvers, The Butchery, Jimmy’s Beef and Seafood, Hartnett’s Car Wash and the Danvers YMCA. It is also available at Peabody locations including the Epicurean Shop at the Century House, Capone’s Restaurant; and in Lynn, at Monte’s Restaurant and Donna’s Dance Studio.All proceeds from the CD go directly to the ADA.
