Lynn chamber seeks award nominations

LYNN – The Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its annual Community Awards.The chamber, which serves Lynn, Lynnfield, Nahant and Swampscott, is looking for nominations from these communities for the 2009 Business Excellence Awards, which will be given out at the chamber’s 97th annual meeting in January.Nominations of chamber members and community volunteers and leaders are sought for Business of the Year, the Multicultural Business Leadership Award, the David J. Solimine Community Service Award, Rookie of the Year and Buddy Fennell Hall of Fame Award.Special recognition is given to a municipal employee in each “area” that the Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce at 100 Oxford St. serves.
