LYNN – The man who allegedly stabbed another man in the chest Sunday night inside a Western Avenue bar was ordered held without bail Monday in Lynn District Court.Eduardo Ramos, 31, of 33 Bacon St., Dorchester, was arrested and charged with attempted murder shortly after the 9:30 p.m. stabbing.Police officers said they rushed to Molino’s Bar and Restaurant at 937 Western Ave. to find a man lying on the front steps covered in blood with about five people standing around him.The victim was identified as Ricardo Ramos, 38, of Lynn. The victim was stabbed once in the upper left chest and transported to Mass. General Hospital in Boston, police said.Carlos Contreras, 36, of Lynn, who is a bouncer at the bar, told police he tackled Eduardo Ramos to the ground to stop the fight. Ramos allegedly tried to break away several times before officers arrived.Police viewed a surveillance video tape that allegedly shows the suspect fighting with the victim.During the fight, an unidentified man who police believe is friends with the victim, is seen in the video picking up a chair and going after the suspect before he is stopped by other bar patrons.Police said blood was found on the Eduardo Ramos’ jacket.Judge Albert Conlon ordered him back to court Jan. 6 for a dangerousness hearing.
