LYNN – Lynn police broadcast a description of a vehicle Monday night to area police departments after the driver allegedly pulled a gun on an unknown man because he thought the gentleman winked at his girlfriend in a convenience store parking lot, police said.At 9:35 p.m., officers responded to Tedeschi’s at 625 Boston St. and spoke with the 44-year-old victim, who minutes earlier ran into the store to get help.The victim said he parked his car and began walking into the store when the suspect approached him.”The male asked why he winked at his girlfriend,” police spokesman Lt. William Sharpe said. “The male then attempted to strike the victim with a closed fist.”Next, the suspect yelled to a blonde female inside a white pickup truck, “Get my gun,” police said.The suspect allegedly walked toward a 1990s Chevrolet pickup truck and retrieved a small black handgun from the vehicle.After the victim ran into the store and called police, the suspect drove away.The suspect was described as a white male in his 40s or 50s wearing a red Budweiser hat and a jacket with the letters, “MCI.” The woman was described as white with blond hair and in her 40s.No arrests were made.
