LYNN – The 7-year-old brother of the first Lynn baby born in 2009 couldn’t wait for his younger sibling to be born.”On Dec. 30, he looked through the window and saw snow. He touched my belly and said, ‘Oh, brother be born so you can come outside and play with me in the snow!'” mother Thailina Keth of Lynn said.A short time later, Keth went to the bathroom and her water broke.After 12 hours of labor, she gave birth to Khaivon Keth, a boy who weighed in at seven pounds, 12 ounces. He was 21 inches long.Keth was delivered at 12:40 a.m. Thursday, marking North Shore Medical Center in Salem’s first baby born in the new year.”It’s like a New Year’s Day present,” father Kevon Keth said. “We’re very, very happy and excited at the same time.”Kevon Keth, who works at a Boston liquor store, said his wife went into labor shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday.”When it got to 11 p.m. we realized we were going to have a New Year baby and we started rooting for it,” he said.By the way, Keth’s older brother was born on Dec. 30.
