PEABODY – The newest members of the Peabody School Committee were elected unanimously into the board’s highest positions.Both Brandi Carpenter and Ed “Eugene” Charest have served one year of their four-year term on the Committee. Their hard work and enthusiasm proved good enough to earn Carpenter the position of Secretary and Charest the position of Vice-Chairperson.The decisions were made at the beginning of the Committee’s first meeting of 2009 Tuesday night.
