SAUGUS – Twenty seven New York Giants Super Bowl rings stolen from an Attleboro business last spring were found by police Tuesday inside a safe deposit box at Eastern Bank in Cliftondale Square, police said. The box allegedly belonged to Kristen Sullivan, 22, of 55 Cleveland Ave., Saugus. The silver rings commemorating the Giants’ 2008 Super Bowl win over the New England Patriots, worth about $6,400 each, were part of a $2.5 million heist from the E.A. Dion jewelry manufacturing company in June.On Friday, police charged Sean Murphy, 44, of 407 Walnut St., Lynn, after investigators searched his home and a safe deposit box at Eastern Bank on Market Street in Lynn, where $10,000 of rare coins stolen from E.A. Dion were found, police said.According to court documents, police on Friday searched Murphy’s workplace, North Shore Moving Company at 725 Summer St., Lynn and found a cell phone jammer, which burglars often use to disconnect alarm systems.Police said other stolen valuables were found in possession of Sullivan and Murphy’s ex-girlfriend, Rikkile Brown, 21, of 1 Silver Leaf Way #127, Peabody, who were both charged with receiving stolen property.Sullivan was arraigned on the Friday charges Tuesday in Lynn District Court. But within hours of her release, she was arrested again after the FBI and Saugus police found the stolen Giants rings in her safe deposit box.Photos of the rings released by the Saugus Police Department show player’s names inscribed on one side and the score of the game (New York 17, New England 14) on the other. New rings had to be created for the players after they were discovered missing.Sullivan is expected for arraignment on the new charges today in Lynn District Court.Police reports don’t say how investigators closed in on Murphy, who is believed to be the mastermind of the thefts, but indicate he was linked through a sales receipt after selling stolen gold jewelry to a Pennsylvania company for $50,000.A Boston newspaper, citing an anonymous State Police source, reported Monday that Sullivan is eyed in a massive East Coast theft ring dubbed “The Lynn Breakers” after burglarizing several Costcos in multiple states.Sullivan is being held without bail. His arrest Friday violated terms of probation for an open marijuana and domestic assault case, court documents said.
