REVERE – Two Revere residents were arrested Wednesday in connection with the brutal stabbing of a Revere man inside a Rose Street apartment, police said.Charles Graffeo, 47, of 907 Broadway and Kathleen Palermo, 49, of 38 Rose St., were both arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife).Police charged the pair after several hours of questioning about the stabbing of Lloyd Nickerson, 28, of 32 Rose St.At about 12:45 p.m., police rushed to Nickerson’s home where he was found stabbed in the neck, torso and other parts of his body, according to Police Capt. Michael Murphy.State Police homicide detectives were called to investigate because police weren’t sure if Nickerson would survive his injuries. Police now say he is going to live.Palermo was seen covered in blood as police escorted her to an awaiting police car. After several moments of searching, police found Graffeo hiding inside Palermo’s home, according to Police Lt. Michael McLaughlin.McLaughlin said the motive for the stabbing is unclear, but it occurred after a verbal argument escalated between Nickerson and Graffeo. He said the investigation is ongoing and more charges could be filed.Palermo and Graffeo are expected to be arraigned today in Chelsea District Court.
