REVERE – Detectives are investigating a burglary at the Revere Recreation Center on Beach Street that occurred Monday night.A custodian arrived to work about 7 a.m. Tuesday and discovered numerous items, including digital cameras and an undisclosed amount of cash, were missing, according to a police report.Rec. Center Director Addrienne Maguire told police the suspects likely gained entry through an unlocked side door.However, someone smashed a window to get into the center’s office, where she reported a digital camera, lenses and cash were stolen. Police did not release a list of the items stolen.Another break was found in the consumer affairs office in the building’s basement, police said. Someone apparently smashed a window to get inside and stole petty cash. Numerous desks were found in disarray, police said.
