LYNN – A Revere woman and two local men were arrested Wednesday after police allegedly watched her break up heroin using her EBT food stamps card then drive away when officers confronted them in a Stop and Shop parking lot, police said.Jacqueline Nugent, 27, of 10 Hauman St., Revere, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, possession of a class A drug (heroin), failing to stop for police and violating the city’s knife ordinance shortly before 10:30 p.m.James O’Connell, 32, of 27 North Ave., Revere and Robert Pulisciano, 32, of 149 Dayton St., Danvers, were identified as passengers and arrested and charged with possession of a class A drug (heroin).According to a police report, officers from the Lynn police Special Investigations Unit during a stake out watched Nugent use her food stamps card to break up the heroin on a flat surface, then saw O’Connell place liquefied heroin into a needle in the front passenger seat.A plain clothes officer, who was wearing a badge around his neck, then approached the car, which apparently startled the three occupants. Police say O’Connell pressed the automatic door lock, preventing the officer from opening the door. Then Nugent allegedly stepped on the gas and drove out of the parking lot onto Washington Street. As Nugent rounded the corner onto Boston Street with police in tow, one of the three suspects allegedly threw a needle full of heroin out of the window. It was later recovered by police.Nugent drove about a block before she pulled into the Lynngate Plaza parking lot by the Bank of America ATM, police said. The three suspects allegedly fumbled with objects as officers approached and were ordered out of the vehicle.Police say baggies of heroin and the EBT card were found on the floor of the car, as well as a needle cap.In addition to driving with a suspended license, Nugent was also in possession of a knife over 2.5 inches which violates the city’s knife ordinance, police said.
