Revere’s Chris Mastropietro and Swampscott’s Justin Massey were named as MVPs of the Northeastern Conference North and South Divisions as the league announced its hockey all-stars on Monday.Mastropietro also won the award last season, sharing it with Peabody’s Elijah Cohen. The senior went over the 100-point mark this season and has recorded hat tricks in his last three games while ranking fourth in conference scoring (20-18-38).Massey, a senior, led the NEC South in scoring during the season with 29 points (12-17) as the Big Blue repeated as league champions. Swampscott coach Gino Faia was named the NEC South Coach of the Year while Winthrop’s Dale Dunbar earned the honor for the North after taking the Vikings from worst to first this season.Mastropietro will be joined by teammates Jay Sasso (31 points) and Nick DiMare in Saturday night’s (8) all-star game against the Cape Ann League at Burbank Arena in Reading. He was joined on the all-CAL team by forwards Kevin Holmes and Collin Cusack (Newburyport); John Lee (Lynnfield, 31 points) and Andy Roach (Masconomet); and defensemen Matt Calos (No. Reading); Dan Cushing (Wilmington) and Keaton Cashin (Masco).
