SAUGUS-Four women were arrested on prostitution-related charges at two Saugus hotels Saturday as part of the FBI’s “Operation Cross Country,” which targets prostitution activity at hotels throughout the United States, police said.According to the police log, one woman was arrested shortly after 8 p.m. at Holiday Inn Express and the other three were arrested at the Red Roof Inn, both of which are on Route 1.Ann McKenzie, 21, of 309 Summer St., Arlington, was arrested and charged with possession of a class A drug and prostitution after being found at the Holiday Inn.The women arrested at the Red Roof Inn were identified as Tania Holiday, 23, of 316 Huntington Ave. #712, Boston, who had an outstanding warrant for prostitution; Ashley Cioe, 19, of 172 Earl St., Fall River, who was charged with prostitution and a warrant for larceny and Patricia Olsen, 28, of 1295 Main St., Fitchburg, who was charged with deriving support from prostitution.Federal, state and local police taking part in the same operation arrested five additional women at the Marriott Long Wharf Hotel in Boston, according to published reports.Operation Cross Country is described as a nationwide initiative to crack down on child prostitution in over 30 cities. The goal is to target pimps, rescue juveniles and gather intelligence.
