LYNN – Two Lynn men were arraigned Monday in Lynn District Court after they were allegedly caught stripping parts from a stolen car that was parked next to an abandoned home on Barrett Court.Guy Lucien, 21, of 128 Empire St. and Michael Rodriguez, 20, with listed addresses at 132 Empire St. and 3 Mace Place, were arrested at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday and charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle, receiving stolen property and stealing motor vehicle parts.Two separate neighbors called police anonymously to report that people were stealing tires off a 1996 Acura Integra at 9 Barrett Court, according to a police report.When police arrived the Integra was lifted on a jack. Three of the four tires, a back bucket seat and two radio speakers had been removed.Both Lucien and Rodriguez allegedly told two separate tall tales to police. Lucien said he met a man on the Internet who gave him some of the car parts, while Rodriguez said he was in the area to meet a man who lived on the second floor of the abandoned house. Police interviewed the alleged resident who said he had never met Rodriguez before.Police say officers looked through Lucien’s car that was parked a short distance away and discovered the missing bucket seat and speakers.After further investigation, police discovered the stripped car had been reported stolen from Lawrence.At their arraignments, Rodriguez was ordered held on $300 bail and Lucien was released on personal recognizance. They are due back in court April 2 for a pre-trial hearing.
