LYNN – A woman is scheduled for a court arraignment today for allegedly smashing a cocktail glass in the face of another woman Monday inside Fran’s Place, police said.Nilsy Gonzalez, 21, of 47 Harrison Archway #4743, Roxbury, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and malicious destruction of a vehicle shortly after 12:30 a.m.Police responded to the Washington Street bar, which is popular with the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community, and allegedly found Gonzalez and another woman arguing in the middle of the street.The woman told police Gonzalez had smashed the glass in her face a short time earlier and the fight between them spilled into the street, according to police.The victim said she and Gonzalez had problems in the past. After the assault, she got into her car and tried to leave but Gonzalez allegedly followed her outside and began punching the victim’s car window with a closed fist, which broke the window.The victim refused medical treatment. Gonzalez is scheduled for arraignment today in Lynn District Court.
