LynnArts promotes Meet Me Downtown

LYNN – LynnArts is expanding its promotion of the annual Meet Me Downtown Festival of the Arts in Central Square, which will be held Sept. 26.The festival typically draws up to 5,000 visitors and enlivens the square with art exhibits, music, dancing and other live entertainment in addition to food and craft tables.LynnArts Executive Director Susan Halter said the festival will be promoted throughout Greater Boston. The vendor participation fee is $40 and $10 for an 8-foot table with chair. Each additional table is $8 and each additional chair $2. Volunteers will help vendors set up, starting at 10 a.m. Vendors are limited to two tables per space. The festival takes place rain or shine.July 24 is the registration deadline.
