The clerk, Ed, hit the panic button to alert police because the fight spilled behind the sales counter. The video shows Ed trying to separate the victim from the suspects.”My guy tried to stop the fight,” Elkhawly said. One of the suspects jumped over the sales counter during the fight, then jumped back over the sales counter when the fight was over, knocking over numerous items in the process.Police say the victim got punched in the face several times but not seriously injured.Leonard Lomax, 17, of 1041 Tremont St., Roxbury, was arrested and charged with affray, assault and battery, malicious destruction of property over $250 and disorderly conduct.Antonio Ayuso, 19, of 6 Horandan Way, Boston, was arrested and charged with assault and battery, assault with a dangerous weapon and malicious destruction of property over $250.Police reports don’t indicate why the fight started.Elkhawly said Saturday wasn’t the first time his store was hit by crime.
