REVERE – It only took about 20 minutes for Chelsea police to catch a Revere woman who allegedly robbed a bank in their city Wednesday morning.Margaret Christie, 53, of 10 Hauman St., had painted her fingernails bright orange and drove away from the Sovereign Bank on Everett Avenue in Chelsea with a family member’s car after she allegedly robbed the bank.”She had bright orange fingernail polish that stuck out to one of the witnesses,” Chelsea Police Captain Keith Houghton said. After the 9:45 a.m. robbery in which Christie got away with $450, she allegedly drove away in a car that was registered to a family member who lives with her.”She nearly struck a construction worker as she was driving away,” Houghton said. The worker was the person who wrote down the license plate number and reported it to police, making it easier to track down the suspect.According to the Revere police log, officers responded to Christie’s home at 10:05 a.m. – 20 minutes after the robbery. She is scheduled for arraignment today in Chelsea District Court.
