Lynn police officers arrest two in the act for prostitution

LYNN – For the second time in one week Lynn police officers caught a prostitute performing a sexual act on a john, according to police reports.Alleged prostitute Tynetta Ross, 41, of 269 Tremont St., Melrose, was allegedly caught having intercourse with Freddy Nolasco, 29, of 86 Timson St., Lynn, inside a car that was parked in the middle of West Colony Road shortly after 2:30 a.m. Thursday.Ross was arrested and charged with prostitution; Nolasco was arrested and charged with soliciting sexual acts for a fee and unlicensed operation of a vehicle.Officer Chris Hagerty said in a police report that he was monitoring activity on Union Street at about 2:30 a.m. when he noticed Ross waving down cars. He said police are “very familiar” with Ross due to numerous prostitution-related arrests in the past.Nolasco allegedly pulled over in front of Ross at the corner of Union and Green streets before she got into his car.Hagerty followed the couple as they drove down Chestnut Street, took a right onto Western Avenue and eventually pulled onto a side street, identified as West Colony Road in East Lynn.According to police, Nolasco parked his car in the middle of the dead end street and turned the lights off. Hagerty parked about a block away and walked to the car. Police said he shined a flashlight into the car and discovered Ross on top of Nolasco having intercourse.Both suspects were arraigned in front of Judge Ellen Flatley Thursday in Lynn District Court. Ross was ordered held on $200 bail and Nolasco was released on personal recognizance. Both are due back in court May 4.On Wednesday, March 18, police arrested 27-year-old Maria Santana for prostitution after they allegedly caught her performing oral sex on Aldo Cassano, 31, in a Nahant Street parking lot. Cassano was also arrested.
