LYNN – The Lynn teen who was arrested for burglarizing Breakheart Reservation in Saugus and Babe Ruth Field in Lynn while doing community service as part of his probation last summer has been arrested again on similar charges.Justin Hayes, 19, with addresses of 16 Empire St. and 20 Bulfinch St., was arrested and charged with seven counts of failing to stop for police, receiving a stolen vehicle, breaking and entering at night to commit a felony and trespassing on Tuesday.Hayes was arrested on a warrant hours after he allegedly drove a getaway van, that had been reported stolen in Beverly, for a group of burglars who broke into a business at 254 Chatham St. and stole electronic equipment, including a large screen television, electric guitar and speakers plus two acoustic guitars, at about 3 a.m. Tuesday.Police reports say officers caught the suspects trying to flee and got into a brief car chase with police. Police said that speeds were not excessive and no traffic was present. The chase ended when the driver, who police say was Hayes, crashed into a stop sign on Sanderson Avenue near Kiley Park and the three occupants fled.Police arrested Dennis Escott, 19, of 145 Lewis St. and Francis Bennett, 19, of 2 Ocean Ave., Revere, and charged them with receiving a stolen vehicle, breaking and entering and destruction of property.Hayes is the same person, along with Christopher Mazzola of Lynn, who were charged this summer with causing thousands of dollars in damages at Breakheart and Babe Ruth Field. In one instance, they allegedly stole two John Deer tractors and drove them through the woods of Saugus before abandoning them in a field off Route 1.
