Lynn students to lead prayer session on TV

LYNN – Students from the Sacred Heart School in Lynn will lead Catholics across the state in a prayer service this Thursday on the cable network Catholic TV.The Woburn-based TV network invited about 30 students along with Principal Joanne Eagan and Sister Theresa Pond to its studios recently to record a prayer session that will air on Holy Thursday.With Good Friday and Easter Sunday coming up this weekend, the students are leading Catholics through one of their most important prayer services during that religion’s holiest week.The students range from grades 5-8.The prayer service will air on Catholic TV, channel 296 for Verizon customers and channel 268 for Comcast customers, Thursday at 9:30 a.m. and again at 7:30 p.m.Those who do not get Catholic TV can stream the prayer service live at www.catholictv.com.
