Car wash offers child seat inspection

SALEM – The Salem Car Wash at 51 Canal St. in Salem is sponsoring a child passenger safety seat opportunity on April 25 from 9 a.m., to 1 p.m.Mark Leavitt, owner of the car wash, has invited Marblehead Police Lt. Dave Millett to be on hand for anyone wishing to have their child’s car seats inspected and installed.”Clean, well maintained cars and safe kids offer a great travel combination and this is a perfect time of year to focus on both,” Millett said.The event is being sponsored by the Salem Car Wash, the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, AAA Southern New England, The Salem Police Department, and area child passenger safety advocates.?
