Lynn Channel 15 television broadcaster John Hoffman honored both English boys basketball coach Buzzy Barton and St. Mary’s girls hockey coach Frank Pagliuca as co-coaches of the year at Thursday night’s awards ceremony at Breed Middle School.Channel 15 will broadcast the show in its entirety in the coming weeks.Hoffman, who broadcasts numerous Lynn sporting events annually and hosts “Sports Weekly” as well, gave out trophies and T-shirts donated by Kevin Harrington of Harrington Trophy Company. John’s Roast Beef on Chatham Street, also a sponsor, donated the food for the buffet after the show was recorded.Barton, in his third year at the helm at English, coached the Bulldogs into the Division 1 state final, including two dramatic wins over Central Catholic and Brockton along the way.
