SALEM – Salem State College held its 199th undergraduate commencement Saturday at the campus O’Keefe Sports Center.”Mr. Red Sox,” Johnny Pesky, 89, a Swampscott resident, received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree.Nearly 1,400 undergraduates received degrees at the ceremony.
