Sacred Heart Alumni hand out scholarships

LYNN-Alumni and supporters of Sacred Heart School recently donated 20 scholarships to middle school students at an end of the year awards ceremony.The scholarships will help students attending private high schools such as St. Mary’s next year afford tuition.Director of Advancement and Alumni Sister Theresa Pond coordinated the program and ceremony and held a brunch for the scholarship recipients and donor families. The recipients and donor families are Kaylee D’Leon, donated in memory of Elizabeth & Thomas Gill; Katherine McGee, donated in memory of John Daniel O’Connor; Deborah Lucien, donated in memory of Rosalie O’Connor; Thomas O’Connor in memory of Joseph J. O’Connor; Thomas Halligen in memory of Kevin B. Robertson; Sophia Oliveira in memory of Katherine Banks Valente; Larisa Bogomolov in memory of June Field; Kirstin Casey in memory of Paul Driscoll; Jeremy Lejeune in memory of George Mason; Michael Hayward in memory of Russell A. Meredith, Sr.; Paul Halas in memory of Brodie and Shane Sullivan; Joshua Puati in memory of Brodie and Shane Sullivan; Panagiota Agganis in memory of Leonard M. Sampson; Luis Gutierrez memory of Leonard M.
