Police searching for Salem man in Lynn scissors stabbing

LYNN – Police are looking for a Salem man they said stabbed a fellow barber Thursday on Lewis Street following a dispute between the two.Witnesses said they saw Abraham Rodriguez, 28, of 173 Lafayette St. Apt. 15, speed away in a red BMW 325i, Massachusetts registration 93RR94. Police hold a warrant for his arrest charging him with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (scissors) and attempted murder.Wilson Reyes, 24, is recovering in Massachusetts General Hospital from a stab wound to the chest sustained after Zone barber shop co-workers said he got into an argument over the phone before walking up Broad Street to confront Rodriguez at Beyni Salon on Lewis.Witnesses said the pair fought and the altercation ended outside the Professional Beauty Salon on Lewis Street where Reyes was stabbed.?The victim and the suspect know each other and a dispute between the two preceded the crime,” Police Lt. William Sharpe said.
