Two teams looking to bounce back from season-opening losses will get together on Friday night (7) at Bertram Field in Salem as Bishop Fenwick and Salem renew acquaintances. The Crusaders come in off a tough 19-12 loss to Saugus while the Witches will look to rebound from a 31-0 whitewashing at the hands of Winthrop.Fenwick had the lead in the fourth quarter against the Sachems when Alex Crecco bolted 56 yards for a touchdown. But Saugus rallied for two scores in the late going to steal away the win.Crecco was outstanding in his first start, rushing for 124 yards and the touchdown.Salem, meanwhile, struggled mightily in its first game without all-star running back Melikke VanAlstyne as the Vikings rolled up and down the field and took advantage of several critical turnovers.St. Mary’s at MatignonAt Dilboy Field in Somerville on Saturday (10), the Spartans (1-0) look to make it two in a row to open the season against a Warrior team that was thumped, 34-7, by Lynnfield in its opener. It was the Spartans doing the thumping in their opener last week, shutting out Blue Hills, 35-0, at Manning Field. Saugus got a 19-12 win over Fenwick in its opener.Quarterback John Moore was outstanding in his first career start for coach Mike Broderick’s team, rushing for 104 yards and the game-clinching touchdown in the fourth quarter.Peabody at CambridgeAt Cambridge on Friday (3:30), a pair of old rivals from the Greater Boston League will meet. The Tanners (0-1) played well in their opener, a 32-7 loss to St. John’s Prep.Mark D’Addario rushed for 95 yards for the Tanners, whose only touchdown came on an 81-yard kickoff return by Jamal Abu-Hiljeh.Revere at MedfordAt Hormel Stadium in Medford on Friday (7), the Patriots (1-0) look to build off a dramatic 20-14 double-overtime win over Northeast Regional in their opener. Trae Weathers ran for two touchdowns and 185 yards, capped by the game-winning score in the second overtime.Lynnfield at GeorgetownAt Georgetown on Friday, the Pioneers (1-0) got three touchdowns on the ground from Gino Cohee as they opened the 2009 campaign with a commanding 34-7 win over Matignon.
