PEABODY – Police are on the lookout for two masked men who held up the Sovereign Bank at 300 Andover St. at gunpoint Friday morning.The two suspects, described by police as black males, entered the bank on Route 114 at approximately 9:30 a.m. and demanded cash. Both were brandishing handguns. The pair fled in a black Chevrolet. Police broadcast a partial license plate number.State police and the FBI have joined the investigation. Peabody Police Capt. Dennis Bonaiuto said at least one of the robbers flashed a handgun.Nobody was injured in the holdup, Bonaiuto said.Police initially described the suspects’ vehicle as black Subaru Legacy but later changed it to a Chevrolet.
