Miguel and Salvador Castro made it a family affair Monday as they combined to score all five goals in Classical’s 5-1 win over Revere at Manning Field.Older brother Miguel notched his third hat trick in as many games, while freshman Salvador accounted for the first two goals of the game. They each assisted on one of the other’s goals as well. Two of Miguel’s goals came on free kicks.”They play so well together,” Classical coach Dave Skahan said. “They always know where the other one is. They’re both highly skilled. It’s just awesome to watch them play.”Miguel Castro now has 10 goals and three assists and Salvador Castro has four goals and as many assists. Alex Mulbah provided an insurance goal 17 minutes into the second half off a pass from Leo Barrios. Daniel Cordoba (8 saves, many of the them spectacular) was in net. He had plenty of support from defenders Eric Bransfield and A.J. Chelsea scored 20 minutes into the game. Tech keeper Kevin Deleon made a spectacular diving stop on a penalty kick about 10 minutes in to keep the game at 1-0 heading into the half.Chelsea made it 2-0 15 minutes into the second half, and then, a minute later, took a 3-0 lead. The Tigers, however, answered the wakeup call. Jeremy Tranfaglia and Mike Russo played well in the loss.Marblehead 5, Saugus 1At Saugus, the Magicians (2-1-1) led 1-0 at the half and then blew the game open in the second half with goals at the six-, eight- and 10-minute marks and one with about three minutes left. Mike Brenan (2 goals) and Matt Frankel, Ellery Smith and Malin Segal (single goals) took care of the scoring for Marblehead. Carmen Bordonaro scored off a free kick in the second half for Saugus (1-3).Beverly 2, Peabody 2At Peabody, Rodrigo Valdez scored with about five minutes left in the game to help the Panthers (0-1-2) escape Peabody with a tie. Ethan Trowt had tied the game earlier in the game. Peabody had goals from Mike Chiappini (Lucas DeOliviera assist) and Colin Mahoney (Chiappini assist). The Tanners are 2-0-1.Bishop Fenwick 2, Williams 1At Braintree, Brandon Jordan assisted on Brandon Ballard’s goal 7:24 into the first half and than supplied the game-winner for the Crusaders 1:24 into the second half. Angelo Madia had the assist. Francisco Anzoatequi had 10 saves. The Crusaders are 3-0-1.St. John’s (S) 3, Prep 1At Danvers, the Eagles (2-1, 2-0 Catholic Conference) found themselves in a hole early when St. John’s of Shrewsbury scored two goals in the first three minutes. Sean Callahan scored for The Prep late in the first half to cut the deficit to 2-1. Marking back Jake Donovan played well in the loss. Goalie Steve Pasinski from Nahant had four saves.
