LYNN – The deadline to challenge the results of the city’s Sept. 15 preliminary election has elapsed.The clock ran out on challenges Monday at 5 p.m., said City Clerk Mary Audley.The city clerk will draw names for the final ballot positions in the Nov. 3 election on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Election Office at City Hall.Mayor Edward J. Clancy Jr. and Judith Flanagan Kennedy will be the only names appearing as mayoral candidates. Kennedy’s name did not appear on the preliminary election ballot because she was a write-in candidate.
